Bearing failure analysis, in order to improve an important part of working surface of the bearing reliability system engineering (bearing job functions in the provisions of the damage, failure or does not work as the failure phenomenon called (bearing fault can be divided according to their normal life of failure and two early failure, which is the main reason analysis for pitting and fatigue cause early failure of bearings and make recommendations for improvement, in order to improve the NSK bearing life and reliability.
NSK bearing fatigue failure is a failure surface in the form, mainly for fatigue crack initiation, propagation and fracture process, long-term effects under the alternating load failures arising under the metal. Cracks in two aspects:
The first: on the surface, this is, NSK bearings in rolling contact process, due to the stress of periodic change caused by external loads on the working surface of the plastic deformation and strain hardening of the surface contact, and finally in small crack from the inner surface of the development, formation of surface cracks in between the work, due to surface gradually into the lubricant, open force, crack down on the wall, forcing the crack advance;
Two: from the surface layer, repeated pressure, surface contact, the initial crack crack in the exposed surface and a certain depth, along the surface of the angle, to a certain depth, after the contact of the surface, and beyond the surface, corrosion and eventually split, leaving a horse pit.
On the surface, or from the fracture surface layer, the two goals (parts carburizing, quenching and other surface heat treatment, if uneven hardness, microstructure, and non uniform stress and other adverse, contact stress is generally from subsurface crack instead of under the influence, if the surface quality is poor, there is a defect (oxidation, decarburization), friction or lubrication, the surface crack.
