U.S. safety regulators said on May 23 , earlier this year exposed the universal ignition switch defect deaths or higher than the initial statistics of 13 people.

Back in March 2014 , Center for Auto Safety ( headquartered in Washington regulators ) , says that in the general recall incident, 303 people died in automobile airbag activation fails . Currently , GM has not yet finalized the list of victims to recall vehicles.
