Intense thunderstorm has delayed a bold bid to improve the integrity of the Costa Concordia cruise ship in 2012 closed at the beginning of capsized Italian coast.
Italian civil protection chief Franco Gabrielli said that around 1:00 on Monday (Sunday 2300 GMT), the storm hit the island of Giglio, not predictions.
