Shah Deniz gas field in the Caspian Sea the main developer, has confirmed that the European a natural gas pipeline that will go through Greece, then to Italy under the sea.
BP CEO Gordon Birell region, said on Friday at the official ceremony in the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku, the project has received Greece - Albania - Italy across the Adriatic Pipeline, or TAP. Other options, Naboo Forsythe entrepreneurship, will encounter over Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary and Austria.
TAP by Statoil, Swiss and German companies Axpo E.ON.
The pipeline will run nearly 800 kilometers (500 miles), the entire northern Greece and southern Albania under the sea before traveling to Italy.
BP holds 25.5% of the Shah Deniz project, while Statoil holds the other 25.5%.
