A group led by Microsoft company has asked European antitrust regulators investigate Google alleged unfair practices in the smart phone market.
The FairSearch - including Microsoft, Nokia, Oracle, and so on - said on Tuesday that Google is unfair action to give up its Android operating system for mobile devices, but require the company to use it to install Google applications, such as YouTube.
The European Commission is not obliged to take any action to answer the complaints outside. Google has been the practice since 2010, according to the Commission of Inquiry on its online search and advertising market dominance.
Android operating system the largest share of the smartphone market, followed by Apple. Blackberry, Microsoft and others have lagged far behind.
