2, oil seal assembly should pay attention to are as follows:
The assembly of oil seal axis and the cavity should meet the required accuracy and surface roughness by the assembly (including the shaft end chamfer);
b in the assembly parts are not allowed scars, burr and paint and rust, must prevent bumps in the handling and custody of the axis and the cavity;
c before assembly, clean the shaft and chamber, and coated with a thin layer of clean oil, or coated in the oil seal lips and use the same oil or grease;
d when loading the proper use of the fixture, it is best to load in press;
e axis keyway or splines, use protective cover to protect load so as not to damage the lip;
f loaded oil seal at the bottom of should be kept vertical and the axis.
3, seal replacement points to note:
a demolition oil seal should be to avoid the bumps inside the cavity surface and the surface;
b use of the seal, even the appearance of even the best can no longer use, you must replace the oil seal;
c. shaft surface bumps or rust must be repaired;
d into the new oil seal away from the old lip contact area, you should use the pads to avoid friction traces.
